It all started with the question of how agriculture in Uzbekistan could save water. Gunther Schorcht, our founder and CEO, was one of the first to use satellite data and algorithms to answer this question. He founded green spin GmbH in 2013 to use satellite data to assess large-scale cultivation conditions in various countries. This resulted in two main applications: a collaboration with Farmblick for field-level analysis and our Croptify app for larger scales, from county level to global perspective.
Over the years, we have learned one thing in particular: to listen, look around, and develop customized applications. We are constantly developing our products. They grow along with the needs of our customers. Because this is our vision: to use data to build tailor-made compasses and offer you more certainty for future decisions. In this way, we want to support you in your business, make agriculture more resilient, and actively contribute to more sustainability.
