Südzucker is Europe's largest sugar producer. The company has been using remote sensing data, among other data, to optimize its consulting services for several years.

This data is used to retrospectively examine specific seasonal effects on cultivation in order to draw the right conclusions for the future. Taking into account various climate scenarios for European growing regions, forecasts are made for the future production of sugar beets and other crops.

“Open communication with green spin laid the foundation for the nearly 10-year partnership with our company. Thanks to this highly productive and professional collaboration, we have received very interesting and actionable information for both current and future challenges.”

Dr. Johann Maier, Head of Agricultural Research and Field Trials at Südzucker
